First screenings in Castilla La Mancha

Within the framework of CinEd's project, on the 13th December Secondary school students from IES Pedro Mercedes of Cuenca attend the screening of El espíritu de la colmena, by Víctor Erice at Centro Cultural Aguirre.

After the screening they talk about some of the main film aspects: the movie theatre sequence, the importance of spaces, the colour of the film, the silences and gazes...


Screening of 'El espíritu de la colmena' in A Fonsagrada

On the 30th November, within the framework of CinEd's project, students from IES Fontem Albei from A Fonsagrada, in collaboration with CGAI - Centro Galego de Artes da Imaxe, had the change to see El espíritu de la colmena, by Víctor Erice.

During the following dialogue, they talk about the silences, the historical context, the sequence when Teresa arrives to the train station and the bound with brothers Lumière, the filming of Ana's face...


Screening of 'Il posto' in Barcelona

On the 29th of November, within the framework of CinEd's project, students from Institut Moisès Broggi from Barcelona, discover Il posto, by Ermanno Olmi.

After the screening, a dialogue conducted by filmmaker Pep Garrido opens a dialogue where some of the mail film questions are shared: growing up, the sound and light, the work with the face and the use of first shots, the final sequence...


Moving Cinema collaborates with l'Alternativa

For the fourth consecutive year, L'Alternativa – Festival de Cinema Independent de Barcelona collaborates with Moving Cinema and Cinema en curs. Secondary school students from Institut Moisès Broggi, Institut Castellet and Institut Enric Borràs attend as Young Spectators to sessions programmed within the framework of the festival.

The films suggested are: Niñato, by Adrián Orr; Milla, by Valérie Massadin; Stranger in paradise, by Guido Hendrikx; El mar nos mira de lejos, by Manuel Muñoz Rivas; Donkeyote, by Chico Pereira; Lettre d’un cinéaste à sa fille, by Eric Pauwels; e Hiroshima mon amour, by Alain Resnais.


Festival Las otras miradas de Donosti

En el marco del festival Las Otras Miradas, de Donosti se proyectaran 2 films de Cinema en curs. Los días 21 y 22 de noviembre ‘Mireia i Sula’ de los alumnos de 6º de la escola Rafael Alberti de Badalona y los días 23 y 24 de noviembre ‘In Crescendo’ de los alumnos de 1º de Bachillerato del IES Rey Pastor de Madrid.


CinEd meeting in Barcelona

Within the framework of CinEd's project, from the 15th to the 17th of November, it takes place at the Filmoteca de Catalunya a working session focused on the reflexion and the round table discussion about the methodologies for an active screening, as well as the strategies and dynamics to develop a teacher's training.

CinEd is a programme coordinated in Spain by A Bao A Qu, lead by the Institut français (Paris) in cooperation with La Cinémathèque française.



On the 17th of November, within the framework of CinEd's project, students from IES Rafael Dieste visit the CGAI – Centro Galego de Artes da Imaxe to discover on big screen El espíritu de la colmena, by Víctor Erice.

During the following dialogue they share their impressions of the film: they talked about the breakfast sequence and the one from the movie theatre, the documentary influence when they filmed Ana seeing Frankenstein for the first time, time and colour, the ending...


CinEd in Aragón

In this school year 2017-2018, CinEd arrives to Aragón in collaboration with 'Un día de cine', programme developed by the Departamento de Educación from the Gobierno de Aragón.

From November 2017 since May 2018, Primary and Secondary school students will discover on big screens El espíritu de la colmena, by Víctor Erice in movie theatres and cultural centres from Cariñena (Zaragoza), Borja (Zaragoza), Zaragoza, Teruel and Huesca.



On the 15th November the first CinEd training takes place at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra of Barcelona.

From El espíritu de la colmena, tools and methodologies are offered in view of a reflexion and analysis of filmmaker’s decisions and his work with the cinematographic parameters. Dynamics and methodologies for an active screening are also presented, creative suggestions are put into practice and film excerpts are analysed.


SEFF 2017: Young Programmers, Young Spectators

For the third consecutive year Moving Cinema collaborates with Sevilla European Film Festival. The Young Programmers present Niñato and conduct the dialogue with the director Adrián Orr and the film editor Ana Pfaff. They also introduce Ava, by Léa Mysius, a film that find specially interesting. They choose the titles among a selection suggested by the festival and A Bao A Qu's team.

Moreover, during all the festival Young Spectators from 15 Secondary schools in Sevilla attend the screenings of 8 films and, in some cases, they have the chance to enjoy the dialogues with the filmmakers. The films proposed are: Ava, by Léa Mysius; Niñato, by Adrián Orr; Claire's camera, by Hong Sang-soo; Before Summer Ends, by Maryam Goormaghtigh; Just Charlie, by Rebekah Fortune; Little Crusader, by Václav Kadrnka; Speak Up, by Stéphane de Freitas & Ladj Ly; and Big Big World, by Reha Erdem.
